Balance is re-opening, once again!

Balance Studios will be re-opening under strict guidelines and modified schedules.
We will be offering only adult classes to start, and hope to offer kids classes soon.
BALANCE SCHOOLS OPENING SCHEDULE
- Balance Fishtown will open on Jan 4th, 2021 (REGISTER NOW)

Register for classes now!
We will give you three days to pick your group.
- We’ve broken down our Phase 1 memberships into 5 groups of 20
- Please choose one location, and one group to get started back
- Balance Fishtown will open on Jan 4th, 2021 (REGISTER NOW)

- Balance Center City will open on Jan 4th, 2021(REGISTER NOW)
- When you get accepted into the group, that means that you are officially part of the group
- You will be able to join the classes in that group only.
- Your group will be the only group that you will interact with temporarily
- We will contact you to set up a time to update your membership
- Give a call to your local Balance Studios if you have more questions.
- Please review our guidelines for uniform safety and hygiene before you come in
- Make sure you bring all the mandatory gear and uniforms that you will need for a class
- Check into your first class at our welcome desk
- If you have not already filled out your
Covid form and re-enrolled you need to do so

- Come to class dressed in UNIFORM
- Maintain hygiene and uniform cleanliness
- Have GYM SANDALS
- Bring GYM BAG
Leave phones in bags - Sanitize at home before entering the building
- Check your own temperature before you come in (we will take it again at door)
- Bring your own sanitizing wipes or gel’s (we also have a station at the door)
- Stay home if not feeling 100%
- NO LATE entry to class
- No Showers
- Keep water bottles with your bag
- Attend classes at only ONE LOCATION for Phase 1
- Bring TOWEL to class to dry off
After you:
- Meet with program director to update membership
- Get your attendance card from program director
You will be FULLY ENROLLED and cleared to train.
Just enjoy and attend the classes in the GROUP that you chose.
Re-opening guidelines & policies
Our Welcome Desk
After getting a big hello, your instructor will:
- Check your temperature
- Offer hand sanitizer
- Sign you into the class
- Confirm that you are in good health
- Do a mask and gear check
- Get you attendance card for your group
- Guide you to your “battlle pod” to meet up with your three other “battle buddies”
Your first time back
- Check in at the welcome desk before each of your classes
- Bring your credit card and ID
- Meet with program director to update membership
- Sign the new COVID WAIVER
- In order to participate each student will need a brand new ATTENDANCE CARD
- Understand the rules and regulations
- Understand the uniform and gear requirements (BELOW)
- Set an appointment with a program director to get re-enrolled
- You will get a BRAND NEW attendance card after completing your membership folder with staff
- MANDATORY mask
- MANDATORY gym bag for equipment
- MANDATORY towel for personal moisture
- MANDATORY Gym sandals / flip flops
- Proper uniform
*If you don’t have them, then you cannot train that day

Group class structure
- We are limiting each group to 20 people (Choose Group A-E)
- Within your group, you will train in a 4 member “Battle pod”
- You will need to join your group on Facebook to secure your spot (ABOVE)
- If you make it to the Facebook group that means you are registered and can come to your first class
- During your first visit to the school you will need to see a program director to have your membership updated
- After your meeting with our program director you will receive a brand new attendance card
- If you do not have a new attendance card, you cannot participate in class
- Come to class dressed in your uniform
- A battle pod is a group of four people (aka “battle buddies) that pair up and work together in class
- To reduce risks, we will only be training with our “battle pods” until further notice
- Each school can fit 4-5 “Battle Pods”
- A “battle buddy” is a member of a four person “battle pod”
- Reach out to your favorite training partners and establish your own “battle pod” with your “battle buddies”
Entering and exiting
- Do not gather outside in large groups
- Hang with you BATTLE POD with masks on across the street or away from the front of building
- You may enter after the door opens, and previous class leaves
- Wear your mask in line and inside the studios
- Line up 6 feet apart, and wait for the door to be unlocked.
- Enter the studio one by one
- Receive temperature check by instructor
- Sign in
- Get your attendance card
- Lineup on the wall and wait for the instructor to collect your cards and start class
- When class ends, you will walk out, after a new class will walk in.
- Make sure you have all of your GEAR, we will be discarding things on a daily basis for safety
- Wear your mask
- Please do not loiter/hang outside of the building
- Again, Take all belongings with you
General rules
- No food, gum or non-waters drinks in studios
- Respect for your school and teammates
- Use control on the mat, don’t hurt your training partners
- Our lost and found last 12 hours, then we discard
- No sitting on the side during class, you’re in or you’re out.
- If you are not the instructor on the schedule , do not instruct anyone
- Attend only ONE CLASS per day
- This is a family environment, watch your language

Uniform and gear rules
- A shirt or rashguard is recommended under your gi
- Wear MASK on mat (Gator style best)
- Come in with a clean uniform every class
- Make sure your fingernails and toenails are properly trimmed
- Make sure your gear is FREE OF ODOR.
- Long hair must be secured in a ponytail
- Use footwear everywhere but the mat
- Change in the changing rooms, nowhere else
- Put your GYM SANDALS on when you leave the mat
- Put your GYM SANDALS on when you use our bathroom
- Never walk on the mat with your shoes
- Take your belongings home with you, we purge every night
