Team Balance Baltimore gets bigger!

Team Balance Baltimore
Team Balance has reached a new milestone as two academies unite in Baltimore, Maryland with Baltimore Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Essex and Grapple Academy Martial Arts (GAMA) in Perry Hall both reaching new heights. Both academy owners, Rob Sullivan of Baltimore BJJ, and Greg Lew of GAMA, have made large improvements to their respective academies.
Baltimore BJJ is now under new ownership of Balance Black Belt, Rob Sullivan. Sullivan is a lifelong grappler, beginning wrestling at the age of 11, and continuing his grappling journey through his 20’s and 30’s by being an active BJJ competitor, high school wrestling coach, and professional mixed martial artist with his most recent victory at Shogun Fights 24, winning by TKO in 51 seconds.

GAMA owner and Balance Black Belt, Greg Lew, has been a competitor for over a decade representing Team Balance as a member of Baltimore BJJ. Opening Grapple Academy in 2014, Lew has been the head instructor and coach of the GAMA program and competition team for eight years, and is now officially merging the competition team with Baltimore BJJ to become a Balance academy.

Together, under the guidance of Sullivan and Lew, Baltimore BJJ and Grapple Academy will be Balance Baltimore, with open cross training between the two academies, and scheduled cross training sessions with the youth programs and competition teams.
